The Title 1 Literacy Night was held on Thursday, March 23rd at the Waubay School. The theme “Bloom Into Reading” welcomed students and their families to the beautifully decorated Commons with flowers and blossoms of spring. A meal was available for everyone to enjoy. In the gym, students were able to participate in different games and activities. Each student was awarded a book and bookmark of their choosing.
One hundred people registered for the family event. Door prizes from HR One Stop, and The Purple Cow went to Eugene Clark, Brynleigh Renville, Carrie Niles and Lindsey Butler. Everyone enjoyed the fun filled evening!
