Eva Benike, a senior at Waubay High School was presented with a commemorative basketball to honor her achievement of 1000 points during her varsity basketball career. Eva has been playing basketball for the Waubay-Summit Mustangs since her 7th grade year. She has been a starter for the Mustang team since her freshman year. Eva spends a lot of her spare time in the gym practicing her shot, along with many camps during the summer. Eva is also a runner on the cross country and track teams. Coach Sarah Strang presented Eva with her award following the game.
