National Poetry Month is celebrated every April to raise awareness and appreciation for poetry. It's the largest literary celebration in the world, organized by the Academy of American Poets.
First and second grade classes worked to compose and illustrate their own original poetry. Several students were absent on the day of recording, we apologize for any students not featured.
