The weather’s getting colder, and Thanksgiving and Christmas break are right around the corner — but it’s not time to check out yet. Every day and every class still counts.
Showing up makes a real difference. Students who attend regularly stay connected, keep up with lessons, and build habits that lead to success. Even missing a day or two here and there adds up faster than we realize.
Let’s keep attendance strong and finish this stretch before break on a solid note. We’re proud of our students for continuing to show up, learn, and do their best.
Reminder of Attendance Incentives: The Waubay School District previously announced a partnership with Patrick Ebert from Horace Mann. Patrick generously offered to fund attendance incentives for this school year!
🚲 Elementary Students: Eligible to win one girls’ bike and one boys’ bike based on their attendance percentage at the end of the year.
🍕 Junior High & High School: The class with the best attendance percentage will earn a pizza party.
