On May 1st, three of our dedicated Special Olympic athletes competed in the Northeast Area Athletics track meet at Milbank. Each athlete showcased remarkable skill across multiple events, securing several top finishes.
Hurizon Davila placed 1st in the Female 50M Walk, 2nd in the 50M Dash, 1st in the Woman’s Mini Jav., and 3rd in the coed 4x100M relay.
Virgil Benais placed 1st in the Running Long Jump, 2nd in the 100M Dash, 3rd in the 200M Dash, and 3rd in the coed 4x100M relay.
Catan St. John placed 1st in the Men’s Mini Jav., 1st in the Running Long Jump, 1st in the 100 M Dash, and 3rd in the coed 4x100M relay.
