The Mustangs proudly wrapped up an incredible spring sports season with standout performances at both the State Track Meet and the Girls State B Golf Tournament. Our student athletes competed against the best in the state and brought home fantastic results.
Track & Field Highlights
• Teegan Gaikowski: Cleared 5'10" in the high jump to finish in a three-way tie for 8th place and leaped 38-01.05 to take 14th in the triple jump.
• Addison Heinje: Delivered a strong performance in the javelin, placing 17th in the state with a throw of 103-08.
Golf Highlights
• Sage Gaikowski represented the Mustangs at the Girls State B Golf Tournament at Edgewood Golf Course in Brookings on June 1–2. In a highly competitive field of 103 golfers, Sage shot an 83 in Round 1 and a 90 in Round 2, finishing tied for 24th place!
