BAND: The Waubay School Band WILL be playing at the football game on Friday, Aug. 30th.
School pictures will be held on Friday, September 13th. Staff pictures will begin at 8:00 AM with student pictures to follow. Dress up and big smiles!

Thank you to First Savings Bank for your generous donation to Waubay School for the start of school.
Just a reminder that tonight is the Waubay School open house from 4:00-6:00 PM. The volleyball team, football team, and the elementary student council will have tables for you to buy Mustang shirts and sweatshirts. Order forms will be available at open house tonight. Proceeds will benefit each group that you purchase from. Other programs that will be at the school tonight include Sisseton Wahpeton College and Upward Bound. We will also be serving grilled burgers, baked beans, chips, and lemonade. Hope you can make it!
Tomorrow is the first day of school for the Waubay School District. We are very excited to welcome back our amazing students. Please remember that school starts at 8:15 AM and ends at 3:30 PM for all grade levels. Happy First Day of School!!!!!

Waubay School District will be changing its cell phone policy starting with the first day of school this year. Cell phones and headphones will NOT be allowed in the classrooms throughout the day. The district is asking that elementary students leave their cell phones at home. Junior high students will be asked to leave their cell phones in their lockers or place them in the classroom in a designated place. High school students may have their phones on them during the day, but they are not allowed to have them out during their classes. High school students may check their phones during passing time and during lunch. If they are caught using them or have them out when they are not supposed to, there will be consequences that can include phone being confiscated to detention or suspension. Headphones are not allowed in school for any age student. If you need to get a message to your student, our office staff will be happy to assist you. Please see the attached flyer. Thank you!
