The Waubay Senior & Community Center is inviting children to Santa Claus Day on December 16 from 10:00 am-noon. Please see attached flyer.
The Waubay High School Student Council will be hosting a blanket drive once again this year. Tie blankets will be made by the students. Please bring any new fleece or monetary donations to the school before December 8. After completion, the blankets will be donated to Sleep in Heavenly Peace in Watertown, SD. Please see attached flyer

Community Use fobs will be shut down due to the Dakota Players Event from 11/15/2023 through 11/17/2023. Fobs will be turned back on 11/17/2023 for Community Use once the school event is completed.

Grizzlies Football Awards Banquet will be Thursday, November 16th at 6:00pm in Summit. All players, cheerleaders and family are invited to attend. We will eat first, and the awards program will follow. We will provide chicken, a drink, plates, and silverware. Families are asked to a dish to pass. Families whose last name starts with A to R bring some sort of dessert and families whose last name starts with S to Z bring a dish to pass (salad, vegetables, or hotdish).

Dakota Players will be at Waubay Elementary on November 13-17. They will be working with the students to perform the musical “On the Road to Bremen Town”. Students in grade PS-6 can participate. Auditions will be held Monday, November 13 from 3:30-5:30. Practices are 3:30-8:00 Monday-Thursday. Parents will be responsible for picking up their student at the end of rehearsals. Performances will be Friday at 2:15 pm and 7:00 pm. Please send back the emergency contact form and permission form by Thursday, November 9 or Monday, November 13. WINTER SPORTS MEETING will be Tuesday, November 14th at 6:30pm in Summit. If you plan to play basketball or cheer it is highly suggested that you attend this meeting.

There is a sign-up sheet in the office for JH Boys Basketball. Practice will start on November 20th. Practice will be in Waubay on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of that week.
