Waubay Elementary will be hosting a Book Fair in the boardroom on Thursday, April 20 from 1-3:15 and 5:30-after the Elementary Concert. This Book Fair is being held by Whimsy on Main from Milbank. The elementary will receive 20% of the proceeds in new books for the school library.
Good evening. This is Superintendent Scott Lepke. Tomorrow students in grades Kindergarten through grade 12 will be attending an assembly in Wilmot. The presenter is a former NFL and Canadian Football League player. The topics for the elementary will be kindness. The topic for the secondary students is suicide prevention. Both programs are designed to help create positive culture at school. We have also started to administer our state assessments. It is important for your student to take these tests seriously and do as well as they can. Our goal is to make sure all students in grades 3-8 and grade 11 are tested. Attendance is important from now until the end of the school year. Thanks for your coooperation.
Track meets scheduled for April 11th and April 13th have been cancelled.

Students in preschool through sixth grade and their families are invited to attend the Title 1 Literacy Night TONIGHT from 5:30 to 7:00pm. at the Waubay School.
A light meal will be served, and there will be games and activities in the gym for the students to participate in. Please join us for an evening of fun.
