There is one (1) opening on the Waubay School Board, and this position will be filled by the appointment of replacement by the remaining members of the Board. The process for appointment will include completion of an application form (if interested, call 605-947-4529 for the application), a successful interview by the School Board of selected candidates, and Board action to appoint the new member. The appointed Board member will serve out the remaining term and the seat will be up for re-election starting July 1, 2022.

GBB Open Gym for Thursday has been canceled due to impending weather.
GBB Open Gym on Thursday at 5pm in Waubay for grades 7-12.
Summit Gym will be closed Thursday 11/11 starting at 4pm until Saturday 11/14 at 8am. The weightroom/wellness center will still be open.
BBB Open Gym for 7-12th graders at 6:00 pm tonight in Summit.
Waubay After Prom fruit, meat and cheese sales are ending this Friday, November 12th. Finish up those last minute sales. Students, please turn in your order forms and money to Connie in the front office by 3 pm on Friday. There are cash incentives to the top 2 sellers and also additional drawing chances for every 10 items you sell. Thank you for selling and making After Prom even better!

The wrestling season is upon us!! I want to inform Waubay students that they have the opportunity to compete at the Jr. High and Varsity level with Webster Area. The Jr. High practices start on Monday, November 8th and the varsity practices start on Monday, November 15th both are in the wrestling room at Webster High School starting at 3:30. We understand that the Waubay kids will be delayed due to travel. This is open to all students grade 6th through 12th both boys and girls. Good luck to Kenlee, Marci, Carson and Hayden as they participate in All-State Chorus this weekend. Hayden is a 4 year member, which is quite an accomplishment! The concert will be televised on SDPBS on Saturday night at 8:00 Central time.
