TRACK: With the amount of rain and the current condition of the track and field areas, unfortunately the Webster Area Invitational Track Meet scheduled for Thursday May, 22nd has been CANCELED.

Waubay-Summit Football Camp will be held on June 11th from 5:00-8:00 PM for students in grades 3-6. Forms were sent home with the students a while ago. The deadline to sign up is May 29. The cost is $25.
There will be 2 varsity football camps this summer. The first one is on June 17 and 18 in Hamlin and the second one will be on July 14 in Elkton. Please talk to Coach Rumpza if you are interested.
Just a reminder that tomorrow is the last day of the school year. We will have a 12:30 dismissal tomorrow as well. GIRLS BASKETBALL:
Coach DeKam will hold a girls basketball meeting at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, May 20, for all current 6th–11th grade girls interested in playing basketball next season. Please plan to attend if you are thinking about joining the team!

We are proud to offer a 5th – 8th grade football clinic for all aspiring athletes going into these grades next fall. This clinic will be happening on July 17 from 6:00 – 8:00. The presenters will be Jordan Fast and Jake Schneider, offensive and defensive coordinator of the 2024 State Runner-Up Sioux Valley Cossacks. The clinic will provide an opportunity to learn skills and schemes from these accomplished coaches. More information to come!
Please join us in celebrating with Miss Beers as she retires. Miss Beers has been a music teacher at Waubay School District for 41 years. There will be a reception to honor her on Thursday, May 22nd from 1:00-3:00 PM. We will be serving cupcakes, cookies, coffee, and lemonade.
