Waubay School District will have an early dismissal tomorrow due to parent teacher conferences. School will be dismissed at 1:30. Parent teacher conferences will be held from 2:00-7:30. Also remember to support the Waubay Culture Club at their Indian Taco Feed during conferences.

Waubay School District will be dismissing school early on Friday, February 2nd. School will be dismissed at 12:00 due to a funeral being held at the school. Lunch will be served to all students prior to dismissal. We will also be providing transportation home after the funeral if students would like to attend. Please have them use the west gym door where a school vehicle will be waiting to take them home.
High School Student Council will be sponsoring "I HATE WINTER" week next week at Waubay School! Please see attached for dress up days!
The Waubay High School Culture Club, a new addition to the school’s extracurricular activities, is on a mission to improve awareness and appreciation for the Native American culture of our school community.
To generate startup funds for events and activities, the first Indian Taco Feed is scheduled for February 8th during the Parent/Teacher conferences. We are seeking support in the form of ingredient donations, which will be a significant step towards establishing a solid foundation for the Culture Club.
If you are able to contribute, kindly consider providing donations of the specified ingredients. For your convenience, we have designated Shannon Hopkins (605-924-6977) as the point of contact for coordinating donations. Please communicate with Shannon Hopkins by February 2nd, and she will gladly arrange to pick up any donations you may wish to contribute.
The required ingredients for the Indian Tacos include:
• Hamburger
• Frybread (we are seeking 3 volunteers to prepare 3 batches of 50, with an estimated total of 150 pieces)
• Lettuce
• Tomatoes
• Olives
• Onions
• Taco Sauce
• Sour Cream
• Bottled Pop/Water
• Cash Donation
