Tonight is the MS/HS Spring Concert at 7:00pm. Also in the commons area, there will be a showing of MS/HS art projects. This display will be set up before and after the concert for viewing.
GOLF PRACTICE TODAY 5/5 will be at the driving range in Milbank. Transportation is provided, students will be leaving Waubay at 3:00pm.
Anyone interesting in helping with Gopher control please meet at the Football Field on Thursday, May 4th at 5:30pm. Please bring a pair of gloves, a small shovel and old small cooler.

The Waubay Athletic Boosters will be doing the concessions at the May 12th track meet. This is the Waubay Legion Track Meet that is held in Webster. We are asking for donations to defray costs and are in need of workers for the concession stand. There are 4 shifts with 2 adult and 2 student spots for each shift. SCHEDULE ADDITION: There has been a JH track meet added to the schedule for Monday, May 1st at Sioux Valley start time is 4:00PM. The bus will be leaving Waubay at 1:40PM. Schedule of events below.
Congratulations to Tigh Gaikowski, Kolby Haubris, Jaxen Dockter, and Kolt Mendenhall for breaking the current school record in the boys 4x100 meter relay with a time of 48.61!
The track meet scheduled for Friday 4/28 in Sisseton has been cancelled.
Please remember that the Waubay School District is "Peanut Aware". We do have students who are severely allergic to peanuts and tree nuts. A list of snacks that are approved will be posted on the website. The end of the school year means classroom parties. We need to make sure that the snacks that come into the school are safe. NO HOMEMADE SNACKS ARE ALLOWED. All snacks and treats must have labels on them. Treats brought without a label will not be served. Thanks for your assistance.
A Junior High Track Meet in Milbank has been added for tomorrow, April 25th with field events starting at 3:30pm and running events at 4:00pm.
Due to the current weather conditions there will be no golf practice today 4/20 or Friday 4/21.

Waubay Elementary will be hosting a Book Fair in the boardroom on Thursday, April 20 from 1-3:15 and 5:30-after the Elementary Concert. This Book Fair is being held by Whimsy on Main from Milbank. The elementary will receive 20% of the proceeds in new books for the school library.
This is a reminder from Waubay School District. Tomorrow (April 19th), several students in grades 9-12 will be attending the NSU Math Contest in Aberdeen. All juniors and seniors that are not at the math contest will be going to Milbank for a Think and Drive demonstration. They will leave at 9:00 AM and return around 1:00 PM. Friday, April 21st will be a normal day for school.
