Monday, June 5 9:00 - 11:00- Boys basketball in Summit for athletes in grades 7-12 for the 2023-2024 school year.
Monday, June 5 - 9:00 - 12:00 - Girls basketball in Waubay for athletes in grades 7-12 for the 2023-2024 school year.
Parents/Guardians,
Starting the 2023-2024 school year athletic physicals will be required yearly. If your student will be in grades 7-12 for the upcoming 23/24 school year and plan to participate in sports, they will need an athletic physical.
Avera Medical Group Waubay will do Waubay/Summit school athletic physicals Monday, July 31st through Thursday, August 3rd from 9am-4pm by appointment only. Parents can call the Avera Waubay Clinic at 605-947-3422 to schedule. This is a FREE service Avera Waubay Clinic is offering our Waubay/Summit School athletes the week of July 31st.
If your athlete is going to have their physical done at Avera Medical Group Waubay, they will not need a form, the clinic already has them.

2023 Grizzlies Cheerleaders
Elementary Field Day is Wednesday, May 24th beginning at 1:15 at the football field. Parents are welcome to attend!
Reminder: Athletic awards for cross country, volleyball, basketball cheer, boys & girls basketball are tonight Tuesday 5/16 at 7:00pm in Summit.
Track kids please be at the school by 10:30am Friday (5/12) for the track meet in Webster.
There will be NO school in Waubay this Friday. The staff will be working at the Waubay Legion track meet that day in Webster.
Due to the gym being set up for graduation, the gym floor is unavailable through Sunday.
ATTENTION: There a few spots left to fill for the Waubay Legion Track Meet on Friday 5/12. Remember that if your child has participated in any athletic event through the school they have been sponsored by the Booster Club. In order to keep the Booster Club going, it is important that everyone help. Tonight is the MS/HS Spring Concert at 7:00pm. Also in the commons area, there will be a showing of MS/HS art projects. This display will be set up before and after the concert for viewing.
GOLF PRACTICE TODAY 5/5 will be at the driving range in Milbank. Transportation is provided, students will be leaving Waubay at 3:00pm.
Anyone interesting in helping with Gopher control please meet at the Football Field on Thursday, May 4th at 5:30pm. Please bring a pair of gloves, a small shovel and old small cooler.

The Waubay Athletic Boosters will be doing the concessions at the May 12th track meet. This is the Waubay Legion Track Meet that is held in Webster. We are asking for donations to defray costs and are in need of workers for the concession stand. There are 4 shifts with 2 adult and 2 student spots for each shift.
