THURSDAY NIGHT: First home VOLLEYBALL game of the season! The theme for Thursday's game is BLACK OUT! So come out and support the LADY MUSTANGS as they take on the Leola/Fredrick Titans at 6:00PM in Summit. JV & V only.
APPAREL FUNDRAISER: The Elementary is holding an apparel fundraiser. Funds raised will help pay for the Dakota Players, PBIS incentives, rewards, field trips, and Artists in Residence. Attached you will find a picture of the shirts and an order form. PLEASE NOTE: Option 1 and 2 are black shirts only and \Option 3 and 4 are on gray shirts only. Order forms will also be sent home with elementary students on Wednesday. Return orders on or before Tuesday, August 29 at 3:30 pm. Contact lacey.boik@k12.sd.us with any questions.
JH FOOTBALL: Practice starts TODAY 8/22! If you plan to ride the bus from Waubay to Summit please be at the west gym doors by 3:30PM. The bus will leave PROMPTLY at 3:35PM.
Volleyball Transportation: The bus will leave Waubay at 3:10pm today 8/22 and return around 5:15pm. Please be at the west gym doors by 3:10 if you plan to ride the bus.
VOLLEYBALL TRANSPORTATION: Practice is in Summit. The bus will leave Waubay today 8/21 at 3:10PM and return around 5:15PM.
ATTENTION JH VOLLEYBALL TIME CHANGE: JH practice for Friday 8/18 will be from 8:00am to 10:00am in Summit. The bus will leave Waubay at 7:40am and return around 10:15 am.
Varsity practice is still 8:00am to 11:00am.
Waubay School District intends to start school on Wednesday, August 23rd. The construction project is moving along nicely. There is still work to be done. We will continue to monitor the progress. If there are any changes, we will let you know. The open house has been moved to Tuesday, August 22nd from 6:00-7:30 PM. We will be serving grilled hot dogs and burgers.
THURSDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: The Dakota Hills Grizzlies will be taking on the Sisseton Redmen in Wilmot! Kickoff is set for 7:00pm, TONIGHT. Hope to see you there! If you are unable to make it, check out the livestream!

Practice Thursday (08/17) at 6:00am in Summit- JUNIOR HIGH PRACTICE STARTS THURSDAY AT 6:00am IN SUMMIT
***Note the practice time change for Thursday August 17
***Starting August 17th there will be transportation from Waubay to Summit for practice. If you plan to ride the bus on Thursday please be at the west gym doors by 5:40AM. The bus will also bring you back to Waubay around 8:15.
Junior High Football equipment checkout will be TOMORROW, Tuesday, August 15 at 6:00 in Wilmot.
